“Black” Rocker Diva Fashion Show

Friday, June 11th, 2010

So, I’m no model, but I thought it would be fun to sponsor and appear in a fashion show, so I did.

My silly smile and carefree strut captured in this picture look awfully familiar…

Here I am with the real models, still grinning like an idiot:

But you’ve gotta admit there’s a lot to be happy about.

This will probably be my last fashion show. The heavy makeup makes me hot and nauseous (they didn’t even use that much on me, comparatively), and I’m a really big fan of eating and not feeling self-conscious. But if there were some way to drive my car down the runway, I’d be all over it!

More Like “Little DEAD Studio”

Ah-ha-ha… I slay me. Here’s a picture of me and Jeff (owner of Little Red Studio) playing dead.

And I’m pleased to report I have since been resurrected.

I was making my way through downtown on I-5 when some crazy old snatch in a Lexus almost broadsided me. She had just entered from the on-ramp as I was comfortably driving down the James Street exit-only lane. I know you have to make your move somewhat quickly to stay out of the exit lanes, but nearly ramming into a three-ton death cab at 60 mph with nary a second look is no way to do it.

I blasted my threatening boat horn, screaming, “You’ll be seeing more of me soon,” and made my exit promptly. As I waited in the middle lane for the light to change, I heard ambulance sirens coming up on my left. I needed to go up the hill anyway, so I cut a hard left turn and followed the wailing vehicle up the hill for nine blocks like a vegetarian vulture.

I hope at least one of the hundred cars facing the other direction in stopped traffic found the image of a hearse tailing an ambulance as funny as I did. It’s the little things in life…

Now to find a reasonably-priced and functioning sewing machine…

Ya Like Hoodies?

Tuesday, June 1st, 2010

Ya like Barbie Dream Hearse hoodies? If so, I have a couple one-of-a-kinds:

The blue, offset logo hoodie is a women’s medium. The pink, centered logo hoodie is a women’s large. They are both a little big on me, and I fill out a women’s medium t-shirt entirely, just so you have a frame of reference. I’m selling them for $30 each. Contact me if you want one or buy a t-shirt online.
